Green tea boba from Urth! Delicious!
There I was minding my own business, watching Flight of the Conchords while procrastinating on my film criticism homework, when my friends from down the hall interrupted my productive afternoon and asked if I would like to accompany them to Urth Caffé downtown. How am I to say no?

If you're worrying, don't fear! I finished my assignment in like an hour after we got back. I had to write about a horrible movie I had seen; turns out, it's a lot easier to write a critique when you absolutely hate something. Go figure.

Anyways, I wore my trusty J. Crew gingham boy shirt (basically the casual uniform of Hollywood types, so maybe it would get me in the mood to write my paper?) and tucked it into a pair of cream lace shorts from Anthropologie. P.S. according to the goddess of masculine-feminine dressing herself, Jenna Lyons, gingham is totally huge for spring, so a cute button-down is a perfect, versatile piece you should probably have in your closet!

To continue with the masculine vibe of the button-down, I threw on my patent leather Madewell loafers but girled it up with an old Betsey Johnson pearl and charm bracelet I've had for forever (it's so cute, the charms are all tea party themed!).

Also, how cute is this mint nail polish from Julep? My friend Bree let me borrow it and I'm totally on board for mint nail polish now; I usually don't stray from pinks and reds.

And before I forget, Urth was delicious as always! Their green tea boba always hits the spot on a sunny afternoon.

Okay, enough about me, check out my outfit! Way more important.
