When I was in Mexico over Spring Break I erroneously neglected to purchase a traditional embroidered dress. Just my luck, because now Mexican-style embroidery seems to be everywhere. A well-placed embroidery design can spice up an otherwise simple garment. A white dress becomes an explosion of colors and shapes. A basic blouse is given intrigue.
