An oversize plaid blazer has been at the top of my fall shopping list, so of course I was delighted when, after arriving to the mall a little bit before I was supposed to meet my friends for a movie, I bopped into Zara and found the perfect—and affordable—plaid blazer!

I'm sure you've seen all your favorite fashion bloggers rocking these jackets lately. They're perfect for achieving that cool, masculine/feminine look. Because my jacket is oversized, I plan on pairing it with a lot of mini skirts and dresses, cut-off shorts, and fitted knit tops. You know my number one styling rule: mixing proportions is key!
