For a festive holiday charity luncheon at Disneyland (my mom and I attend it each year) I wore a festive ruffle sweater in gorgeous silver metallic knit, and I wanted to share the details with you!
I found this top at Nordstrom and immediately knew it was a contender for a holiday party outfit. Originally I had planned on wearing this to my office holiday party, but I found a dress so perfect for that event that I changed my mind (that party is tomorrow night, so be sure you're following my Instagram to see the outfit choice!). But now that I'm a cool adult, I find myself with plenty of holiday parties to attend, all of which require good doses of sequined and metallic clothes, so this sweater made its debut yesterday!
Featuring randomly placed ruffles and that gorgeous gunmetal metallic knit, I described this sweater to my mom as "futuristic ice skater". Maybe I'll wear it when I go see I, Tonya?
And at $59, this top is the perfect price point for a holiday party ensemble piece. You can only wear these clothes around this time of year, you know? So I don't want to spend too much money on something I won't wear that often.
