Every day is an occasion to dress up!
Most people wouldn't bother dressing up on a day when they have nothing to do, but I'm not most people. In fact, sometimes it's the days when I have nothing planned that I find myself getting really creative with my outfits, because I'm just sitting around and playing dress up. This was one of those days, when I saw this old knit dress from Anthropologie that I hadn't worn in a while and decided to make a cool outfit around it.
I love this dress because it really is so versatile. I've worn it with a fun statement necklace and heels to internships. I could style it with a leather jacket and ankle boots for drinks at a cool bar downtown. But this time around I paired the dress with sneakers and my trusty denim jacket for a casual cool look. Also, I had to take my dog on a walk so the high-tops came in handy!
This outfit would be perfect for a casual weekend brunch or trip to a baseball game. And it's the perfect All-American look!
Wearing:
Madewell denim jacket and sunglasses
Division E dress (similar)
Converse high-tops
Chanel backpack (similar)

DeleteLove your outfit! The photos are great too. You have such a simple and classic style here, your white converse work so well. You're making me want a pair- I haven't owned any for years! Ru x

Thanks, Ruby! I was hesitant to get Converse for a little bit, but everyone wore them to football games and they were so cute! Now I love them!
DeleteNice outfits! Love how you style the dress with the denim jacket:)
