Time to have some fun!Happy 2017! I hope you had a lovely New Year's Eve and a minimal champagne hangover on New Year's Day! As this post goes live I'll be hopping on the metro to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl, where USC is playing Penn State. It's my first time going and I'm so excited to see the floats and my favorite college football team! Be sure to check out my Instagram for all the Rose Bowl fun.
A new year always brings a surge of optimism, a hope that the next year will be better than the last. I think I can safely say that 2016 was an exhausting year, and while I don't have incredibly high hopes for 2017 on a global scale, I do hope that things will be good on a personal level. As of January 2nd, I'm optimistic for what this year will bring.
In line with that optimistic view, I'm looking for the fun in fashion right now; exaggerated silhouettes, bright colors, bold prints, and so on. Sure, a poofy-sleeved Rosie Assoulin top and rainbow Sophie Hulme purse may not be the most practical of options, nor the most seasonably appropriate, but if you can't have fun with fashion, what's the point?
