Basically, an excuse to show off a new skirt
Sometimes you don't realize you want something until it goes on sale. Such was the case with this Madewell lace-insert skirt that I picked up at the Americana a few weeks ago. I had seen the skirt on Madewell's website for some time, and I have been in search of a new black mini skirt, but I didn't need it or anything. Until it was under $20 on sale!Yeah, $20 for a skirt that was originally $98. Score! On their website it's $49, but I went during a take-an-extra-40%-off sale event (and I think it was marked down more in stores than it is online), hence the incredible deal.
A black skirt is literally one of the most versatile pieces you can have, so if for some reason you don't have one, I recommend this skirt. It's simple, but the lace inserts on the side give it a special touch.
