Let's be real, 2016 sucked. Yeah, there are a few more weeks left to make it up, but I'm calling it: 2016 was a bit of a bummer. One could argue that graduating college should be looked at as a positive, but as someone who both loves learning and hasn't found a job yet...yeah, I'd be happy to stay in school for a little while longer. On the bright side, I did move back to Los Angeles and am living the cool semi-adult life in the Arts District, so it wasn't all bad.

Anyway, it could be easy to whine and mope for the next few weeks about how much 2016 sucked, but look at it this way: 2016 is almost over! 2017 could possibly be a good year! So instead of reminiscing about Brexit and electing a reality TV star as president and Prince dying, let's end this year with sequins and style because it's OVER, thank goodness!

So don your sparkles and gay apparel (just make sure Mike Pence isn't around), grab a drink, wave goodbye to the past year. Good riddance, 2016. We won't be missing you.
