It's not my birthday weekend 'til the birthday brunch!

If you've been following my blog for a while (or you're an irl friend; hi, friend!) you know that a big brunch party is a Fashion Barbie birthday tradition. Every year my friends and I throw on our sundresses, ready our glasses for some bottomless mimosas, and travel to a trendy LA brunch spot.

This year we ventured downtown to Redbird, a beautiful spot in an old abbey with some truly delicious food! And to truly win me over, they gave me a birthday donut! Do they know me or do they know me?

For the occasion I wore a brand new dress from Reformation. This dress is quite special for me, not only because it's adorable and makes me look like a total Barbie, BUT it is also the first item of clothing I bought with a paycheck from my job! It felt good to walk into the boutique on Melrose and find a dress that I earned with my own money—and yeah, it's super cute too!
