Baby I'll Rule

It's quite clear that we are suffering from a case of royal fever at the moment. Between the royal baby, the new song by Lorde, and all the ermine trims popping up all over fall runways, we've got a real obsession with being blue-blooded right now.

Dolce & Gabbana and Alexander McQueen led the royal movement with their gilded runway shows, but quite a few designers showcased medieval-influenced designs and accessories. Lanvin took a more modern approach, but their full skirts and pretty tiaras screamed Disney princess all grown up.
