Yes, it's that time of year once more! Here are the items on my Christmas wish list in case you want a little insight into what I'm loving right now or need some last-minute inspiration for your own wish list!
Reformation Portia Top
I've recently learned that I look good in brown, and I can't say no to a cute & romantic top from Reformation.
Outdoor Voices Exercise Dress
Will this encourage me to work out more? Probably not. But in case I want to play tennis or just want to look like I'm coming from a workout class, I think this dress is so cute and a way to wear a dress and stay totally comfortable.
Clare V Purse
The Kate Spade crossbody bag I've had since high school finally gave out a few months ago, so I've been searching for a stylish replacement since. This one would do quite nicely.
Verge Girl Sweater
How groovy is this sweater? I can already see it pairing quite nicely with my gingham pants.
I'm trying to buy more non-black shoes, and I like this chunky loafer style.
& Other Stories Blouse
I'm always pursuing my dream of looking like a chic French girl, and this top would help. Just picture it with a pair of high-waisted flare jeans.
What does a Fashion Barbie's holiday wish list look like in a year that has largely upended her typical approach to fashion and style? I'll be honest that making this list was rather challenging this year, not only because I'm making Drake happy by wearing less (as in like, fewer new clothes) and also going out less (because of a pandemic) but also because, since online shopping is one of the few ways I can momentarily boost my serotonin these days, I've more or less purchased all the things I actually want to wear already. Take for example this rainbow sweater I found at Anthropologie. In any other year, I'd bookmark it and send it to my family for an easy Christmas idea. But this year, waiting 2 months for a sweater sounded awful, and Anthropologie was having a 40% off sweaters discount anyway so I got it for a great price. Sorry, Christmas list, but instant (or at least faster) gratification wins every time.
That being said, there are some things that I've taken note of that I might appreciate as gifts, so enjoy, family and friends, my 2020 Holiday Wish List:
H&M Oversized Shirt Jacket
The 'shacket' has been trending all fall long, and I know it's a cool outerwear piece that is also practical for California's milder climate.
I Want To Be Where The Normal People Are by Rachel Bloom
When Crazy Ex-Girlfriend ended, I was sad but excited to see what creator and star Rachel Bloom would do next (if you haven't watched, I highly recommend, it's so fun and the songs are incredible). Lucky for me, she just came out with a book of essays that I cannot wait to read.
Ancient Greek Sandals Thais Sandals
As a San Diego girl through and through, I spend most of my days, even when it is considered sweater weather, wearing sandals. My current go-to slides from Madewell have eroded to such a point that my heels are literally falling off my shoes, and I've determined it is probably time for me to seek out a new pair. I've heard nothing but rave reviews from Ancient Greek Sandals and let's be honest, I trust them on name alone to make a chic, classic sandal style that will last forever.
Out From Under Kya Fleece Jogger Pant
If I'm going to be working from home indefinitely and bringing loungewear into heavier rotation, might as well make it pink, right?
Mare Mare Maria Tunic Dress
Continuing on the magenta color story (I think it's one of my power colors, to be honest) I think this dress from Anthropologie is so dreamy. I also like it in blue!
& Other Stories Relaxed Belt Mini Dress
Another chic dress option is this sweater dress from & Other Stories. Honestly, I'd be fine with probably anything from their catalogue, I'm obsessed.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Secrets Full Size Set
This lipstick is supposed to be universally flattering and literally everyone who likes makeup raves about how great Pillow Talk is. Let's try it and see!
& Other Stories Chunky Sole Leather Chelsea Boots
I'm absolutely loving the chunky boot trend and think this is a style I can rock without ruining my feet completely, and I think they'll look really cool with all my girly dresses.
Diptyque Baies Candle
If Christmas isn't the time to ask for fancy candles, when is?
Marine Layer Signature Lined Hoodie in Ash Heather Stars
I've been looking for a new hoodie to wear while working from home (sometimes I get chilly!) and this sweatshirt is both versatile and features just the right amount of Lindsey style with the multicolor stars.
AGOLDE Cherie High Rise Straight Jeans
I own a distressed version of these jeans but they've unfortunately distressed a bit beyond wearability (namely, a big hole on the butt) but I absolutely love them and how they fit, so I love this cleaned up version of the same cut.

As I get older, Christmas has become less about lavish gifts and more about the feeling of the holidays; of spending time with friends and family, of enjoying the crisp winter air (well, as wintery as coastal California gets), of ice skating and gingerbread baking and hot cocoa sipping.
I'm incredibly thankful to have a job where I get to enjoy a lot of perks, mostly in the form of gifted beauty and fashion products, and because of that, creating a Christmas list means focusing on those small treasures I cherish (and the one beauty PR list that doesn't send free product!).
So without further ado, here is my 2019 Christmas wish list!
1. Pat McGrath Labs Mothership V: Bronze Seduction Palette: Because Pat is the queen of iconic makeup, and this palette is absolutely stunning.
2. Le Labo Santal 26 Candle: My favorite candle in the world (Diptyque who?) From the minimal cool label to the subtle but pleasing scent, I would fill whole houses with this candle if I were JLo too!
3. elago AirPods Silicone Duo Case: Not only do people need to know I have AirPods (jk, my hair is always covering them) but they need to know which case is MINE. I currently have a lightning bolt sticker on the outside of my case, but it's starting to fall off so I wouldn't mind a pretty silicone cover.
4. Gucci Black Leather GG Marmont Card Case Wallet: Hey, I need a new wallet!
5. Rifle Paper Co. for Anthropologie Bon Voyage Passport Holder: Two days after Christmas, I'm venturing to an international locale and ready with a brand new passport. I've always wanted a cute little passport holder, and this one (with matching luggage tag) captures my essence perfectly.
6. Ray-Ban Round-frame Gold-tone Sunglasses: I've had a knockoff version of these shades for a while, but they're getting a little bent out of shape. Maybe it's time to trade in for the real thing, now that I know I like the style.
7. Anything Reformation: You know I love all things Reformation!
8. My Friend Anna by Rachel DeLoache Williams: I am incredibly obsessed with the Anna Delvey story and all things scammers and grifters. With the TV adaptation in the works as we speak, this seems like the perfect time for a deeper dive into Delvey's deceptions.
9. Fred And Sibel Susan Plaid Eyelash Pullover: is it really a Christmas wish list without at least one item of knitwear? I think not! I also see this buffalo check sweater going well with most of my closet, and I love a good green color!

Full disclosure, this post is mostly for the friends and family members who have been constantly asking me, "Hey, Lindsey, what do you want for Christmas?" And not to complain about the most first world of problems, but since I get a ton of free makeup and clothing for my job, it is really hard to think of things that I really want to add to my list.
This year, I'm turning to my favorite things that I'll never get enough of: sweaters from Urban Outfitters, Glossier's makeup, Reformation dresses, and dainty jewelry. Nothing crazy, just Lindsey classics that I know I'll love.

It's the holiday season, and you know what that means: gift guide time!
I'm sharing my personal wish list of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle items that are at the top of my Christmas list. Like any good Fashion Barbie venture, I've got a lot of pretty pink pieces on my mind, but with a healthy dose of high fashion rocker pieces like a faux leopard fur coat and the trendiest hat style of the moment.
Check out my wish list below, and don't forget to share what YOU'RE wishing for in the comments!
I am in love with the charming illustration on this T-shirt. Yes, $690 is a splurge for a cotton shirt, but hey, it's Gucci!
Every winter I dream of adding a leopard coat to my collection, so this might be the year it actually happens
You can never have too many mod-inspired skirts
Work-appropriate shoes with an edge
5. Gucci Purse
Can you guess that I'm a bit obsessed with Gucci at the moment? A girl can't help it!
I am not throwing away my shot...at seeing Hamilton while it's in LA and/or San Diego!
So I can take aesthetically-pleasing Polaroids and have an adorable flat lay prop, obviously
8. Brixton Hat
The fisherman cap is one of the trendiest accessories around and lately I've become more and more of a hat person
How cozy does this sweater look? I saw someone on Instagram wearing it and automatically tracked it down
10. ColourPop Set
Yes, I do get a lot of makeup for free at work, but I'm obsessed with ColourPop and their long lasting lippie sticks
I have officially succumbed to the LA Cult of Reformation; their clothes are incredible!
12. Ban.do Agenda
Because I can always do a better job of staying organized. Plus: stickers!
I'm in desperate need of a carry-on suitcase, and how can I say no to one that's in millennial pink?

Feeling those French Riviera vibes
For the last two weeks my Instagram feed has been inundated with images of celebs lounging on yachts and traipsing down the red carpet at Cannes. As a result, I've found myself daydreaming about leaving on a jet plane and having my own vacation on the Riviera.
From gingham to off-the-shoulder tops to straw boater hats, everything I'm obsessed with right now has those Brigitte Bardot vibes (aka the ultimate Cannes girl) with a retro edge and a touch of nautica. It's feminine with a modern twist, and I plan on channeling this style all summer long. Who's with me?

A pink-filled wish list for my birthday month!
April is one of my favorite months, and it's not just because it happens to be my birthday month! It's officially spring, the sun is shining, and it's a busy month full of festivities. If you're a festival girl, Coachella is just around the corner (I'll be sharing my Coachella outfit picks later this week!) and Easter is another excuse to buy a cute floral dress and eat an elaborate brunch. And yes, I happen to turn 23 this month, which is quite exciting! So here's what I'm wishing for during my birthday month:

Celebrating spring the downtown chic way
It has been well established that floral for spring are not groundbreaking, but you know what is? Making florals look cool and edgy! How does one do this, you ask? Stay away from classic pastels and go for punchy reds and moody blacks.
Prepping for spring means pastels and florals!
Happy February, everyone! February may be the shortest month of the year, but it's jam-packed in the world of fashion and pop culture: New York Fashion Week, the Super Bowl, the Grammys, and the Academy Awards all occur this month, and that's not even including holidays such as President's Day Weekend and Valentine's Day.

Time to have some fun!
Happy 2017! I hope you had a lovely New Year's Eve and a minimal champagne hangover on New Year's Day! As this post goes live I'll be hopping on the metro to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl, where USC is playing Penn State. It's my first time going and I'm so excited to see the floats and my favorite college football team! Be sure to check out my Instagram for all the Rose Bowl fun.
