The Week in Pictures

This week has been a productive one. I've done a lot of writing for the blog and for other creative projects, including this piece on the recent J. Crew news that I'm quite proud of. Get excited for more resort collection reviews and shopping ideas, all coming to The Fashion Barbie next week!

Outside of the blog, I've been getting some much-needed leisure time in this summer. I managed to make it to the beach on Monday, and thank goodness I went then because it's been cloudy ever since! June gloom, please go away...I also saw the Entourage movie, which was no cinematic masterpiece but, as a longtime fan of the Hollywood bro TV series, I was highly entertained and happy to see the boys back in action. I wore my J. Crew boy shirt to pay homage.

I finally got a denim button-down skirt of my own, and I'm already in love! Can't wait to style it different ways. I also got around to finding a good summer read, which was very necessary. Now I have something to read at the beach!
